Day 2, Bregenz - Egnach/Güttingen 59 kmThrough the Rhine Delta nature reserve with in the background the décor of the imposing Alps, you cycle to Arbon, one of the most beautiful Swiss cities at Lake Constance/Bodensee. Via Seelust to Güttingen (or Egnach).

Day 3, Güttingen - Singen/Rieslasingen 59 kmStill on the Swiss shore you cycle to Kreuzlingen. Via the Schlossmuseum Arenenberg you cycle to the German Stein am Rhein, where the Rhine leaves the Bodensee. You'll spend the night in Singen or neighboring Rielasingen.

Day 4, Schaffhausen 50 kmYou will take a bike ride along the German bank of the Rhine along Büsingen (a German enclave) to Schaffhausen (Munot Castle) and to the largest waterfalls of central Europe. You can reach the waterfalls after a short climb. You will cycle back to Singen or Rielasingen where you will stay in the same hotel as the previous day.

Day 5, Rielasingen - Konstanz 40 kmThrough the vast Moor area to Radolfzell. Again on the Lake Constance/Bodensee cycle route you cycle to the monastery island of Reichenau. Over the dam you reach the picturesque island with its beautiful nature. Your cycling day ends in Konstanz, also called "Little Constantinople".

Day 6, Konstanz - Friedrichshafen 34 kmThe overwhelming floral splendour of the flower island of Mainau shows that this name is not simply given. From Wallhausen you will sail to Überlingen, the city where luxurious yachts dock to have a drink in a fashionable café. Via Meersburg, with Germany's oldest castle, to Friedrichshafen.

Day 7, Friedrichshafen - Bregenz 36 kmVia langenargen and Wasserburg you cycle to the Inselstadt Lindau. It's not far before you cross the state border at Locha and get back to the starting point of this cycling holiday, Bregenz. Here you also will spend the last night of this holiday.

Day 8, ReturnAfter handing in the rental bike, you will start your return journey.

You always have a good quality bike with at least 7, but usually 21 or 24 gears. The bikes are suitable for participants from 1.60 m to 1.90 m. Different sizes are only possible on request.
You almost always have the choice of a recreational bike or an E-bike. You can indicate the choice during the booking.

During this cycling holiday you will cycle around this beautiful lake and visit 3 countries in 1 trip. No long cycling routes through nature, but varied routes through cosy towns, villages and past beautiful sights, such as the flower island of Mainau. This mainly flat and excellent signposted route is highly recommended for lovers of terraces and beautiful views over the water and mountains.
